If you’re in Vermont for the weekend (or for always), my father will be reading some poetry at the Memorial Building in Hardwick this Friday (July 22nd) evening at 7pm. The monthly readings are hosted by the Jeudevine Memorial Library.
My brother has been hard at work getting a second printing of our dad’s first book ready, and the man himself has been plugging along at his second book for quite some time. It’s shaping up to be pretty wonderful, from the few poems I’ve gotten a chance to read. And ok… he may be my dad, so I guess I am a little biased, but he’s an exceptionally talented writer (/artist/craftsperson).
Sabin wrote a bit more about the reading and the work on the books, here, so check that out if you’d like.
The first book, Out of the Hermit’s Meadow and Wood, is available for purchase here (and soon, everywhere!).
